- the smaller signed in Latin l.l. and further signed on reverse
- ink, watercolour and gouache on paper
- smaller: 23 by 30cm., 9 by 11 3/4 in.; larger: 46 by 61.5cm., 18 by 24 1/4 in.
Condition
The sheet of the smaller picture is undulated. There is some light surface dirt, a pinhole in the top left and right corners. There are creases throughout, particularly to the lower left corner. A faint crease runs diagonally from the upper centre to the right edge.
There are repaired tears to the upper right and lower right corners of the sheet of the larger picture. There are small tears to the upper edge, a crease down the left edge and in places throughout. There is some light surface dirt.
Both are held in a simple wooden frame behind glass. Unexamined out of frame.
