Condition
The canvas has been laid down onto board. The paint surface is dirty and there is a layer of discoloured varnish. UV light reveals an area of retouching to the bottom of the right hand tower and to a line approximately 20 cm long by the horses on the right hand side. Held in a moulded plaster frame. Unexamined out of frame.
