- with hinged drop front, the top mounted with silver and oak branches tied with a ribbon on which is inscribed the dates 1876-1901 and the roman numeral XXV, the upper left corner with a colored en plein enamel shield with the armorials of the city of Moscow set beneath an Imperial crown, the scrolling initials MA are mounted in the lower right corner, with later silver dedicatory plaque. The plaque engraved "To Sir Thomas Beecham, Bart. The Great Pioneer of Russian Art in England. In Grateful Remembrance of Happy Cooperation during the Russian Opera and Ballet Season. Lyceum, May 15th to June 27th, 1931. Prince A. Zereteli. W. de Basil." Sold with a richly-illustrated program from the Lyceum Theater for the 1931 Season of Russian Opera and Ballet.
