Literature
In 1926 the State Porcelain Factory revived the tradition of underglaze painting that had been introduced at the factory in the early 1890s. Most of these vases were painted with designs by Rudolf Vil'de and were intended for display and sale at international exhibitions. See T.N. Nosovich and I.P. Popova, Gosudarstvennyi farforovyi zavod, 1904-1944, St. Petersburg, 2005, pp.416-417.
