rectangular, enameled translucent rose pink over a wavy ground, the oval aperture surrounded by a foliate border, the frame with foliage terminating in flowerheads, with gilded silver strut and ivory back

only traces of the silver gilding remain; the ivory back cracked in the corners and near the screws
