Condition

The following condition report has been provided by Simon Parkes of Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc. 502 East 74th St. New York, NY 212-734-3920, simonparkes@msn.com , an independent restorer who is not an employee of Sotheby's. This rather homemade creation is in very respectable condition. It has most likely never been cleaned and the three painted sections are dusty. There appear to be no paint losses to the pictures themselves. There may be a couple of tiny chips of blue paint missing to the framework, for instance above the smaller triptych in the upper center and on the hinges, overall. Overall the condition is beautiful and a small amount of cleaning is all that is required. The hinges and the general construction of the piece is very successful and overall the condition is very impressive.
