Condition
Oil on canvas. The surface is a bit dirty and covered with a layer of varnish. There is minor paint loss around the edges and very minor craquelure, particularly in the upper right corner, lower left corner, and along the left edge. There is very nice impasto work in the trees. Under UV certain pigments fluoresce in the upper half (in the tree's flowers) and in the pathway. Varnish prevents a conclusive analysis, although it does appear that this painting was restored and cleaned. Held in a wood frame. Unexamined out of frame.
