Condition
Oil on canvas. The surface is a bit dirty and covered with a layer of slightly yellowed varnish. There is some minor craquelure, particularly in the upper left corner. The surface is covered with very nice impasto work. There is minor paint loss to edges. There is a very minor scratch in the center, over the kneeling woman. Under UV certain pigments fluoresce in sun, but this could be original. Varnish prevents a conclusive analysis. Held in a wood frame. Unexamined out of frame.
