Catalogue Note

Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna, youngest sister of Emperor Nicholas II, fled Russia after the Revolution, spending many years of exile in Denmark and Canada.  She had always enjoyed painting watercolors and gave many of her works to her Danish and other relatives.
