  • marked with initials of workmaster, K. Fabergé in Cyrillic, Imperial warrant, and 88 standard. Contained in original fitted holly wood box.
  • Length 6 1/2 in.
  • 16.5 cm
with carved, pine cone-shaped Mecca stone finial, the curved body accented with a belt of fine beads and with cabochon rubies, the pierced handle decorated with scrolling, floral decoration and set with a coin from the period of Empress Catherine II dated 1769, the ground of the coin enameled in transparent strawberry red

Overall good condition; piece has not been overcleaned and retains most of the original gilded surface.
