of typical form, the baluster body centered with stylized initials VJK and flanked by bracket handles with ivory washers, the tap with mammoth ivory openwork spigot, the collar and socle with pierced openwork borders, the cover applied with globular knops centered with mammoth ivory bands, the interior gilded
Condition
In overall good condition, minor wear and tarnish to the silver expected with age and use. The interior at the back with odd scratch marks, possibly corresponding to an attempt to remove a dent. The gilding however in good condition. The mammoth ivory washers and bands are cracked as would be expected.
