square, with green enamel over a sunray guilloché ground, applied with a gold Imperial double-headed eagle with the shields of the eight kingdoms making up the Russian Empire against its wings, the central shield set with a diamond, the lower border with a row of rose-cut diamonds, the bar with a diamond set in a square setting
Condition
minor enamel loss to the corner of, and a minor scratch to the surface of, one cufflink; the hinge of one bar loose, one arm broken and resoldered

Catalogue Note
By family tradition, these cufflinks were a gift to the Odessa jeweler Radbill from the Imperial family in recognition of fine silver he had supplied to the court. Radbill had his shop in at 13 Deribasovskaya Street in the same complex where Fabergé's Odessa branch was located.
