the heavy silver gilt case opens to reveal a central panel with the Holy Visage, flanked by the Meeting of the Christ Child in the Temple on the left, and, on the right, an assembly of Saints and Apostle Saints, with their heads bowed in prayer, the cover of the silver gilt case engraved with an Orthodox cross and with two suspension loops
