the three richly dressed angels seated at a table at center beneath the oak of Mamre, a column and architectural facades at left evoke the tent of Abraham and a rocky hillside is at right, all three angels make blessing gestures toward the chalice on the table, Abraham and Sarah approach from left and right, with a gilded silver oklad richly chased in imitation of the painted image beneath and an ornate floral border

various areas of restoration to the icon, some small areas of loss to the icon surface, some losses to the rays of the halo of the angel seated at right.
