Description

  • width: 11cm, 4 3/8 in.
carved of bird's eye maple, the ribbon and laurel thumbpiece set with a cabochon sapphire, the end with vesta compartment containing vestas and applied with festoons suspending cabochon sapphires, orange tinder cord with silver ring, struck with workmaster's initials and KF in Cyrillic, 56 and 88 standards

Condition

Generally very good condition. The wood varnish has worn considerably. One age crack to wood at vesta lid hinge.
