Description

  • La Relentie (D. 517)
  • Sheet 735 by 550 mm 28 7/8 by 21 5/8 in
Etching and aquatint printed in colors, with carborundum, 1969, signed in pencil and numbered 40/75, framed

Condition

The print is in good condition. The paper tone has slightly darkened over time due to exposure to light and the sheet edges are discoored. There are three large fox marks on the verso, one showing through slightly to the recto just outside the blue circle at top. There is a small semi-circular discolored are at the upper sheet edge just to the right of center (possibly damp stain?) and the hinges at upper left and upper right are slightly pressing through.
