Description
- Marc Chagall
- Lovers at the Isbah (M. 983)
- 595 by 950 mm 23 3/8 by 37 3/8 in
Lithograph printed in colors, 1980, signed in pencil and numbered 9/50, framed
Condition
The print is in good condition. There is a soft vertical handling crease at the lower sheet edge at right, flattened diagonal creases in the two lower sheet corners, and additional soft creases at the upper sheet corners with minor associated rubbing. A spot of surface dirt is visible in the lower margin at left. The sheet appears to have soft rolling creases due to rolling creases in the back mat; this is easily fixed by re-hinging to a new back mat.
