Condition

The print is in good condition except the sheet is shaved at the upper edge, the deckle remains intact at bottom and right. There is some surface soiling, recto and verso and remains of paper tape hinges are visible at left edge, verso.

Catalogue Note

A trial proof of the seventh state, on thick wove paper, with wide margins. It is numbered 'No. 11' over a erased, partially visible, previous numbering. With a fragmentary impression of 'Gardeuse d'Oies' (D. 187) on the verso at bottom left.
