Catalogue Note

On laid Japan paper. Not recorded by Clayton / Cortissoz but perhaps related to C. / C. 6, an etching titled 'The Lilies'. It is not illustrated in the book but the composition is described as 'a nude figure of a woman faced toward the right stooping in the act of gathering lilies'. The etching was done from a drawing executed in 1905.
