Description

  • the tray 56cm, 22in over handles
gadrooned borders, later applied central plate engraved with the crest (plumes) and Earl's coronet of Courtenay, Earls of Devon, together with a pair of electroplate wine coasters, circa 1900; a vegetable dish, cover, divider and handle, Elkington & Co., 1882; and an electroplate tea kettle on stand with burner, circa 1850, ivory insulators

Condition

The tray with one broken handle and old repairs at joins, central panel a later addition, some wear to plate at highlights. The coasters with some wear at highlights, the tea kettle with an old repair to the body above the spout to the rim of the mouth, burner lacking cover. The vegetable dish with wear commensurate with use.
