Condition

Frame: Tired and with age. Likely original to the picture. Chips to gesso and some retouching. Hand coloured Aquatint: Some surface dirt, notably to the inscribed panel below the image. There is also some foxing. The piece has not been checked out of its frame and it is in 'Country House' condition. The piece would benefit from a thorough clean.
