Description

  • crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, female incised 2884
  • 32cm., 12½in.
each corpulent smiling figure seated crossed-legged wearing a robe painted with indianische Blumen, each head, tongue and hands pivoted to rock (chips, some losses to fingers)

Condition

Female - two chips either side of the notch on the collar where the head rests. Chip to edge of left sleeve. Left thumb lacking. Male - two chips around rim of collar. Thumbs on both hands lacking.
