  • interlaced LL monogram enclosing date letter I and painter's mark cp in blue, incised mark R to base of one foot
  • 12.3cm., 4 7 / 8 in.
painted by Antoine-Joseph Chappuis with a landscape vignette including a large and colourful bird perched on a tree and exotic birds in flight, dentil gilding to the rim, the rustic moulding on the handle and feet also picked out in gold (slightly extended firing crack to one foot)
