- the cup with interlaced LL's monogram enclosing date letter D, unidentified diamond shaped painter's mark in blue, incised 3 and a long tailed a; the saucer with interlaced LL's monogram enclosing date letter F in blue, painter's mark of a scrolling N for François-Joseph Aloncle in blue and incised mn mark
- diameter of saucer 15.3cm., 6in.
painted with vignettes of birds in landscapes and further birds in flight, dentil gilding to the rims (some fine scratches and rubbing to gilding)
Condition
the saucer with a few very fine scratches to bird in the centre of saucer and very little rubbing to gilding of rim, the cup with some losses to dentil gilding on rim, small firing flaw to upper left of painted scene, very light fire specking to rim area above painted scene
