- crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt mount struck with 12 above N in trefoil
each piece painted with a vignette of soldiers in a landscape against a ground scattered with flowers,comprising; a coffee pot and cover, a teapot and cover, milk jug, sugar bowl and cover, two small fluted dishes, tea caddy and cover with gilt mounts, two coffee cups, four teacups, five saucers ( one saucer restored, minor chips and wear)
Condition
Coffee pot and cover- chip to foot, approx. ½in. by ¼in. Minor nicks to flower finial.
Teapot and cover- good condition.
Milk jug- minor flaking to green enamel
Sugar bowl and cover- small chips to flower finial. Minor wear to gilding
Two fluted dishes- good condition.
Tea caddy and cover- chips to finial
Two coffee cups- one with small chip to handle. Some wear to gilt rims
Four teacups- overall in good condition with some wear to the gilt rims
Five saucers- one with large area of restoration to the rim. One with shallow chip to rim. Two with chips to footrims. Some wear to gilding and enamels
