Description

in the Chinese Chippendale style, with later green and white painted decoration

Condition

Good condition. The sponged paint effect decoration is recent and quite chipped. It is difficult to identify the wood underneath though it would appear to be a soft wood rather than mahogany. One arm has been repaired and it is possible that other sections have been replaced.
