Condition
En bon état général. Surface semi-brillante. Tirage sur papier fort et chamois. Avec une déchirure d'environ 5 millimètres au milieu du bord droit et une deuxième d'un millimètre au bord dans la partie supèrieure droite. Avec des plis au coin inférieur droit, vers le bord inférieur gauche, et dans la partie supérieure gauche. Avec de très légères oxydations.
In generally good condition. Semi-gloss surface. Printed on sturdy chamois paper. With a tear of approximately 5mm at the centre of the right edge and another one of approximately 1mm at the edge of the upper right quadrant. With very slight oxydations.

Catalogue Note
Marta Hegemann faisait, avec son mari Anton Räderscheidt, partie du groupe de peintres avant-gardistes de Colgone dans les années 1920. August Sander la photographia seule et en couple avec Räderscheidt; ce portrait plus connu figure dans Hommes du 20e siècle III/13/13, New York 2002. Le tirage proposé ici est probablement le seul existant de cette "variante". Il provient de la collection de Claire Hegemann, la soeur de Marta.
