Vintage arrowroot print. With the inversed negative number 63 at lower right. On the reverse, titled Femme and numbered 63 in pencil by the photographer, with the photographer's stamp and added 17bis in pencil by the photographer.

Catalogue Note
Atget a photographié des prostituées et des nus à deux reprises, en 1921 et vers 1925/26. Le numéro du négatif inscrit dans l'image ainsi que la comparaison du décor des pièces dans lesquelles ces photographies ont été prises, et plus spécialement du papier peint, peuvent renseigner sur la date de la prise de vue.
Un autre tirage de cette image figure dans Happy Birthday Photography. Bokelberg Sammlung, Zurich, Kunsthaus, 1989, ill. p. 97 (daté ici vers 1910).
