Description

  • Manuel Álvarez Bravo
  • 'LA HIJA DE LOS DANZANTES'
signed, annotated 'Mexico' and '#184' in pencil on the reverse, framed, 1933, printed later (Kismaric, cover and p. 93)

Condition

This print, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. There is rippling at the margin edges. On the reverse, there are two small cloth tape remnants at the top edge from a prior hinging. There is also a small abrasion from tape removal next to one of these remnants. Additionally on the reverse, there is faint age-darkening at the periphery of the print.
