Catalogue Note

From the 1950s to early 1980s, André and Elizabeth Kertész maintained a close friendship with Eugene Lux (1900-1985), a Hungarian-born engineer, inventor, and artist, and his wife Gizella.  The couples often travelled together, visited frequently, and corresponded extensively with one another.
