Condition

Grading this albumen print on a scale of 1 to 10--a 10 being an albumen print with deep brown dark tones and highlights that retain all of their original detail--this print rates a 7. The print appears to be lightly faded overall, with the fading along the edges the most apparent. Upon close inspection, two one-inch brushstrokes of original retouching are visible in the lower branches of the trees at the left. There is a small one-inch irregularly shaped area, that has slightly changed color, and is visible at the lower left quadrant of the print. This appears to be original retouching. The mount is very lightly foxed and has faint surface soiling.
