Condition
Like many older ferrotyped prints, there is notable craquelure and several stress cracks on the surface of this warm-toned print. There is a small (about 1 1/2-by-3/4 inches) area where the surface is matte. Visible in raking light is light scuffing in the upper central portion of the print. There is a 5/8-inch tear at the lower right margin corner that affects very little of the print itself. These condition issues are typical of vintage Weegee prints and do not undermine the power of this image.
