  • 'ASPENS, NEW MEXICO'
mounted, signed on the mount, a Carmel studio stamp on the reverse, 1958, printed in July 1978

Literature

Morgan & Morgan, pl. 95; The Eloquent Light, unpaginated; Yosemite and the Range of Light, pl. 66; 400 Photographs, p. 373; Classic Images, pl. 63; Examples, p. 63

Condition

This print is in generally excellent condition. On the mount, there is fingerprint soiling at the right edge. There is faint soiling on the reverse. The Carmel stamp on the reverse does not appear in Karen Haas's and Rebecca Senf's book, 'Ansel Adams in the Lane Collection'; notations within the stamp on the reverse of the mount, however, indicate that this print was made in July 1978.
