Folio, gilt-lettered green cloth portfolio with flaps and ties, no. 15 in a total edition of 208

Provenance

Originally from the collection of the artist Leonard Scheu (1904-1995), Laguna Beach, California

Condition

The prints are in generally excellent condition. Very slight silvering along the edges of the prints is visible only in raking light. The mounts are in generally good condition. The corners are bumped, and there is age-darkening at the edges. The colophons/plate lists are in generally good condition. The top colophon/plate list (which is numbered) has the more noticeable age-darkening. The interior of the folio is in generally good condition. There are some scuffs and age-darkening on the flaps. The exterior of the folio is in generally good to very good condition. There are tiny white specks visible on the front cover, wear on the back cover (resulting in loss of the green pigment), and slight wear on the outer edges of the binding and flaps.
