Condition

'Combegrasse, Puy de Dome,' on double-weight paper with a light surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. Visible in raking light are tiny deposits of retouching and extremely faint sunning to the area immediately surrounding the image. Along the upper edge on the reverse are a one-inch remnant and a one-inch loss from tape adhesive. Also on the reverse, 'JHL/1012' and 'JHL-17' are written in an unidentified hand in pencil. 'Renée Perle,' on double-weight paper with a matte surface, is in generally excellent condition.
