Condition
This warm-toned photograph, on double-weight paper with a semi-glossy surface, is in generally very good condition. The photograph has margins at the top and bottom only. The corners are lightly bumped and the margins are lightly soiled. The ink of the title is smeared slightly. Visible in raking light are 2 pinpoint indentations in the upper right quadrant and 2 soft 1/4-1/2-inch indentations in the lower left quadrant. None of these breaks the emulsion.
On the reverse, there is minor soiling. The photograph is annotated 'RFG - 25.081,' '165,' '8' (circled), and 'Printed - 60s' in an unidentified hand in pencil. Our assessment of the print date is based on the slightly warm tone of the print, as well as the notation on the reverse.
