Description

  • each 97cm. high; 3ft. 2in.
in the form of a satyr and Bacchic female term, the tapering stem cast with musical trophies each supporting two fruit-filled cornucopiae with reeded candlenozzles terminating in a pinecone finial; formerly drilled for electricity

Condition

The gilt-bronze is dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. Old minor marks and scratches. Six bobèches are missing but can easily be replaced. Good large size. An unusual model. In overall good condition.
