Description
- pair of putti with a lute and a trumpet
- gilt and polychromed wood
Condition
Overall the condition of the wood is very good. There is wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age with some particular wear to the proper left foot of the lute player. There are a few losses to the painted surface and there is some minor worming. The top sections of the fingers of the proper right hand of the trumpeter have been reattached. The trumpet is loose. One of the tune heads from the lute is lost. There are some remnants of glue to the hindquarters of both figures. Both angels have metal rings for mounting to the back.
