Condition

Overall the condition of the wood is good. There is some splitting consistent with age and material including a stable split from the top of the head to the corner of the proper right eye. There are losses to the painted surface throughout. The remaining paint is worn in places. There are two minor losses to the front of the turban and some minor chips to the crown. There are some markings in pencil to the left side of the back of the neck.
