Description
- relief with two armorial cartouches held by an angel
- polychromed wood
with a label taped to the reverse: LEIHGABE an AHM von JOHANN LEICHTLE gemäss Vereinbarung vom 20.02.1946. Nr. 4 d.rev.Bestätig.v. 27.11.1957. dort bezeichnet: Renaissance Holzrelief "Wappenschild"; and numbered L12 to the reverse
Condition
There is wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There are losses to the paint and there is worming throughout. The base is a later addition and part of the proper left foot and ground have been replaced. The proper left wing has been reattached.
