Overall the condition of the wood is good. There is some minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There are a few minor losses to the painted surface. The veil of the Virgin is slightly chipped at the forehead. There is some minor worming and splitting visible on the surface consistent with material. The corners of the base and the head of Christ were reattachd. A joint is visible at the proper right wrist of Christ.
