Description
- Corbel with a Green Man
- blackened limestone
together with an English, 12th century, limestone corbel of a Green Man, and a French Green Man in 15th-century style
Condition
Early English Head: There is wear and weathering and dirt consistent with age with losses to the left temple and nose. There is a stable naturally occuring fissure running from the top of the head to the right side of the nose.
Later English Head: There are some, losses weathering and dirt consistent with age. There are some losses to the hair and lines on the proper left side of the head and nose. The surface is blackened.
French Head: There is weathering and wear and some minor dirt consistent with age and placement outside. There are some losses including to the forehead, nose and chin.
