Overall the condition of the relief is good. There is some wear and minor dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is some weathering to the surface of the relief, particularly at the top of the heads of both figures and the satyr's nose. There are a few minor chips and nicks to the relief, particularly along its edges. There are chips to the bunch of grapes and to the underside at the reverse. The reverse has some scratches.
