Condition
Overall the condition of the cross is good. There is wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. The ungilt metal is corroded. Some of the panels have slightly warped. Several joints are slightly loose, as are some sheets of metals due to loose or missing nails. Three of six columns terminating in cherub heads from the underside are lost, the top of one of the remaining ones has broken off. Some repousse copper figures may be missing from the other side.
