Condition

Overall the condition of the games board is good. There is wear and some minor dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is some minor splitting to the ivory sections consistent with material. The wood base of the playing areas is slightly warped leading to some minor irregularities in the joints of between the sections. There is some minor worming to the wood section consistent with material. Several small sections have been fully or partially lost; some of which have been replaced or, on some occasions, have been filled and painted. Particular areas of restoration are at the corners of the board, inside and outside. One of the divided sides of the board has some losses and slight warping due to moisture on the outside edge.
