  • polychromed terracotta, one numbered: 13. on the underside

Condition

Overall the condition of the terracotta's is good. There is overall wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. Each figure displays overall losses to the painted and patinated surface. The socle of the figure with the side burns differs from the others in facture; the glued joint of the socle and bust is visible in each case. There is a small chip to the back of the truncation of the figure with the sideburns.
