Condition
The catalogue illustrations are representative for the actual paintings. Both panels are sound and beveled on all sides. No damages are apparent. The paint layers are well preserved and under a slightly discoloured layer of varnish. There's possibly some minor strengthening in the boats and houses, but further inspection under UV light is impeded by the thick varnish layer. Overall, both paintings are in good condition.
