Ad un primo esame si evidenzia un forte deposito di polvere sulla superficie ed una vernice ingiallita, un foro nel centro del cielo con cadute di colore intorno ed uno verso il bordo superiore a sinistra. L'esame alla lampada di Wood mostra una vernice fluorescente sparsa disomogeneamente. Si consiglia un'attenta pulitura. L'opera si presenta in uno stato di conservazione molto buono. From a first hand inspection a thick dust deposit is visible over the surface, yellowish varnish, a small hole in the middle of the sky with losses and another near the top edge on the left hand side. The ultra violet light reveals fluorescent varnish dishomogeneously spread over the surface. A careful cleansing is suggested. The overall condition as to the state of preservation is very good.
