Condition
The colours in the catalogue are representative of those in the painting.
The canvas has been relined and it is mounted in a moulded gilt XVIII Century-style frame.
To the naked eye no major restoration or damages can be seen, only the paint surface has become rather worn.
Inspection under ultra-violet light reveals scattered retouchings and strengthenings, notably along the margins.
