Ad un primo esame si notano lievi craquelure sul cielo, più evidenti nelle zone materiche. L'esame alla lampada di Wood evidenzia una lieve vernice fluorescente ed alcuni punti di ritocco lungo la linea dell'orizzonte e 2 o 3 sparsi nel cielo. Il più evidente (cm 1.5 x 2) nel cielo in alto a destra. Si consiglia una leggera pulitura. Il dipinto si presenta in ottime condizioni. From a first hand inspection some craquelures are visible over the sky specially where the pigment is thicker. The ultra violet light reveals light fluorescent varnish and some retouches along the horizon's line and two or three in the sky, the larger (cm 1.5 x 2) over the sky top right hand side. A light cleansing is suggested. The overall condition as to the state of preservation is very good.
